Public Heath Approach To Homelessness , Not Tough on Crime
While some candidates are calling for a tough on crime approach to homelessness, I’m fighting for a focus on public health and fiscal responsibility.
The status quo is absolutely unacceptable and we need to work hard every day to get people off the streets. Police and prisons cost far more per capita than homeless services and perpetuate cycles of poverty and homelessness.
